Here are The Gluten Escape ® March updates for you. We’ve added a new section called “Tips for Baking Gluten Free”.  If you have questions about baking at home feel free to submit them to  I’ll do my best to answer them!

Tip for Baking Gluten Free: All about texture! Want to avoid that gritty texture in gluten free items?  EASY SOLUTION: Don’t use or purchase products with white rice flour.  Bonus: White rice flour has little to no nutritional value (and no fiber) so avoiding it will generally help increase the nutrition of your gluten free choices.  How do we make our product textures? We blend 6 flours (and none of them are white rice flour). Our blend is now available for purchase. Our chocolate cake recipe is on the bag. (Our blend is a cup-for-cup substitute, but allows you to control the texture with simple xanthan gum directions.)

UPDATES: It’s March and that means Daylight Savings Time, St Patty’s Day, and the first day of Spring!!!! Here are the specials. Order before March 7 at 5 p.m. for these prices.  (Not to be combined with any other offer or coupons please.)

Price adjustments. We are in the process of adjusting prices for the first time since 2014. Some prices will go up, some will go down, and some will stay the same.  Why?  Some ingredients have seriously increased (vanilla, cocoa, grains, egg, garlic…) and some have only generally increased).  For some of these items we’ve found other suppliers with the same high quality ingredients but better bulk pricing.  For those items, prices will remain the same or decrease! BUT if we’re unable to find other sources or bulk pricing you’ll see increases our prices. We appreciate your understanding. All new pricing will become effective March 27.
